Jacopo Salvi

In recent years, I’ve traveled a lot — my camera always with me — guided by curiosity.
Along the way, I’ve captured busy streets and quiet moments, spontaneous glances and composed scenes, urban lights and natural landscapes.
I don’t confine myself to a single genre — my work moves between reportage, portraiture, documentary, travel photography, and commissioned projects for brands and clients.
What I value most is honesty in photography. I’m drawn to imperfect details, genuine atmospheres, natural light. Every image is a conversation: between me and the subject, between reality and the way I see it. I’m currently based in Europe but always open to new projects and collaborations, wherever they may take me.
In every assignment, I aim to strike a balance — between instinct and technique, beauty and substance.
Photography keeps evolving — and so do I.

Foto Shop Professional

Foto Shop Professional was founded in 1974 in Torbole by Stefano and Maddalena Salvi, at a time when photography was entirely analog and each shot was the result of careful, deliberate construction.

Created as a reference point for professionals and enthusiasts alike, the studio quickly gained recognition for the quality of its prints, deep technical expertise, and a clear vision: to elevate the image as both an artistic expression and a tool for communication.

Over the years, Foto Shop Professional has followed the evolution of photographic language — from black and white to color film, from the rise of digital to the advanced forms of fine art printing. With the revolutionary work of Leonardo Salvi, the studio embraced new technologies while maintaining a strong foundation in craftsmanship and visual sensitivity.

Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, it became a trusted space for photographers, artists, institutions, and private clients, offering services in development, printing, retouching, and technical consultation, alongside a curated selection of professional gear and materials.

Today, with over four decades of experience, Foto Shop Professional continues to move forward — rooted in tradition, driven by precision, and inspired by the myth of Daedalus: crafting images that go beyond the visible, toward new imaginative worlds.
